- 4. DEAL WITH LEGITIMATE MANUFACTURERS NOT MIDDLEMEN OR FRAUDS - The problem with websites like alibaba and made-in-china is most listed suppliers are actually middlemen posing as manufacturers. These dodgy middlemen will try and subcontract your order to the cheapest factory they can find, all while claiming they are the manufacturer. In this photo, several members of the Easy Imex team are inspecting a tent factory in Jiangsu province - on behalf of an Easy Imex member. We hadn’t used this particular factory before so it was important to do an on the ground inspection. This took about 4 hours as we assembled the 20 x 10m marquee from the ground up and inspected the workmanship of the goods. Here are two Easy Imex 20 ft mixed containers at the Shanghai depot. They contain 28 cubic metres of space and allow smaller shipments to be priced at similar rates as full container loads. Allowing very affordable freight rates even if you're doing LCL (less than container load) orders. Our team gives you the “All in” price.
