- I’ve already found a supplier can you help?
Absolutely. Many members come to Easy Imex after they’ve found suppliers – yet aren’t sure how to proceed. It’s one thing to find a supplier on the other side of the world – it’s another to send off large amounts of money to them.
The Easy Imex team will verify your supplier is legitimate, assess their competency and recommend finding new suppliers if necessary. We can take over the negotiations and purchasing for you, doing whatever is needed to ensure your order happens quickly and safely.
No Easy Imex member has ever been defrauded. We intend to keep this 100% record intact.
- I want to be the sole importer of a product. Is this something EASY IMEX can arrange?
Over the years EASY IMEX has arranged many sole importer agreements with manufacturers. Sole importer rights can be excellent for both the importer and the manufacturer.
By having only one importer per country – of a specific product – the manufacturer can control the market for that product. Ensuring the supply is not more than the demand.
In the long term this means more stability of orders for the manufacturer. And more importantly for you it means no direct competition from other importers/sellers selling the same product. Which means higher profit margins.
- What Sourcing Services do you offer?
- Source Products from Scratch - simply fill in our sourcing request form with all your product specifications. Attach pictures, documents, drawings etc. Your account manager will:
- Find and verify a range of suppliers with door to door quotes
- Arrange samples
- Arrange a factory tour based on their findings (if needed)
- Negotiate prices
- Write up sales contracts
- Organise the door to door logistics
- Arrange quality control
- Verify/Take over Negotiations of Supplier You Have Already Found. Many members come to Easy Imex after they’ve found suppliers – yet aren’t sure how to proceed. It’s one thing to find a supplier on the other side of the world – it’s another to send off large amounts of money to them.

No Easy Imex member has ever been defrauded. We intend to keep this 100% record intact. - Recommend Our Preferred Suppliers. Easy Imex has a large database of suppliers on our books. Not just suppliers we’ve met once or twice, but suppliers we’ve ordered from over a long period and have an ongoing relationship. This means quick price quotes, increased reliability and better pricing. Each factory has its own network of other suppliers we can tap into as well.
- Custom Manufacturing. Perhaps your product is not currently made in China? Easy Imex will find a suitable factory to produce your product. We’ve dealt with complex product creations in the past and can work out a unique solution for you, not matter the complexity involved.
- Larger companies. Easy Imex works with many large companies turning over $100m + with specific needs unique to each company. We’re willing to work out a solution which suits you. Please contact us directly and we’ll assess the best way to proceed.
- Source multiple products from multiple suppliers. Perhaps you have a need for a large variety of products, in relatively small quantities. We’ve dealt with start up companies who had trouble arranging complex orders. We’ll find a supplier who can supply you in the quantities you’re after. We’ll also work out a shipping solution to combine your orders
- Hot Product Suggestions. Many of our members are not established businesses. They have started small and aren’t sure what to order or where to begin. - Can you source brand name products?
No generally we cannot. You need to go through the branded companies own distribution network.
- What about companies on the net selling Apple or Sony products?
These companies are often outright frauds. If they are not complete scam artists selling nothing – then they are selling fake merchandise, whose reliability is questionable. You have no recourse to refunds from poor quality goods. Buyer beware! Our advice is steer clear of this area. You cannot build a viable long term business on doing something illegal anyway.
- I want to import “X” product can you source it?
In 99% of cases yes we can. If you can find suppliers online, we can find it. If you can’t find suppliers online, we still can find it – or have it made in China for you. It’s really more a question of what cannot we source. Brand names, firearms, weapons etc
- I want a product custom made in China. Can you help?
Yes we can. It’s possible we have suppliers in our network capable of making your product. If not, we’ll research potential suppliers for you. The real work begins when you try and explain your specific requirements to the factory. Easy Imex has dealt with complex product creations, which have taken 9-15 months to complete. We can handle almost any request.
- What fees do you charge?
We have a one-time membership fee of $199 USD. Once a member, we charge a commission of 3-10% on the value of your goods. So if your product is $100 from the factory we will charge you $103 to $110. The shipping, quality control, customs clearances, duty, GST, permits etc are charged at cost. This covers all the services you need to get your goods from China to your door.

In a nutshell we manage everything you need to get the job done. This includes:
- Sourcing the product
- Comparing manufacturers
- Arranging samples and/or factory tours
- Negotiating price and quantity
- Providing an accurate product quote
- Arranging contracts and purchasing with the manufacturer
- Quality control (more information on question 12)
- Shipping, port charges & insurance
- Customs clearances right to your door
- Why Do You Charge For Memberships?
If you want to import and ‘get it right’ there’s much ground work to complete before an order is placed. Here’s some things our account managers have to organise before providing a quote:
- Sourcing The Right Product – this means choosing from the huge array of potential suppliers, assessing the honest, reliable manufacturers and filtering unreliable or outright fraudulent suppliers.
- Price vs Quality – Many suppliers offer exceptionally cheap prices. What you won’t discover – until too late – is they’ve sacrificed the quality. Given our experience with a wide range of products – we’re highly attuned to games the manufacturers can play.
- Negotiating Price – In China virtually everything is negotiable. Never accept the first price a factory provides. You can usually get a better deal, particularly if you know their costs. Comparing several suppliers will help indicate a fair price.
- Specifications and Quantities. Getting the exact specifications for your product is very important. Manufacturers have been known to make costly mistakes simply because they weren’t given highly specific specifications.
- Landed Quotes. This includes calculating freight costs, the weight of goods in containers, how many goods can fit into a container etc
- Fluctuations in Exchange Rates & material prices all need to be addressed in detail before an order is placed.
In order to continue the high level of service to our existing members we cannot deal with every possible enquiry.
The membership is refundable to those who order more than $10,000 of goods. And over the long term it’s a small price to pay to have your interests handled by import professionals in China.
Ultimately it’s this ground work which can make the difference between success and failure. In the long run, we believe you’ll find our services great value for money!
