How It Works

Anything made in China. And some things which aren't currently made in China (products we've had custom made). The only products we cannot source are patented or trademarked. For example we cannot source brand name products such as Honda, Apple, Samsung, Sony etc. Finally, if you can find the product on a trade directory (eg. alibaba or global sources) - Easy Imex can get it for you. If you can't find the product, it's still possible Easy Imex can get it for you.

Yes you can. Many members come to us AFTER they've found suppliers but aren't sure how to proceed. They are nervous about sending off large amounts of money to unknown entities in China. As well they should be! Easy Imex will determine the legitimacy of your supplier. We've never been defrauded because we follow the right processes. Then proceed with the rest of your order arranging everything from payment, sales contracts and delivery to your door. You can use as many suppliers as you like.

You'll receive a welcome pack, an online account will be setup and you will be assigned an account manager. Your next step is to fill in the sourcing request form which is in your online account. This sourcing request is to get specific details of your products and what you're trying to achieve.

Once you've submitted this - your account manager will get back to you within 3-14 days with a price quote, a factory recommendation, why they have chosen this factory. Simply instruct your account manager on what you want them to do for you.

Easy Imex has a membership fee of $299 US. This is refundable upon $10,000 in orders. We also have a commission on your order of 3-10% depending on the size of the order. So if your product is $100 from the factory - we mark this up to $103-$110.

This means if you've already found a factory and we can negotiate a price 3-10% lower, effectively you're getting our services for free.

Essentially you are getting an experienced, fully staffed office in China at your disposal.

You get full use of our services. Easy Imex is a “one stop” import service company. Meaning our services cover everything you need to successfully import from China. You deal with one company, not 5 or 6.

By arranging everything from product sourcing, price negotiating, sales contracts, quality control, export, import, permits and logistics' right to your door - we ensure you get high quality products, delivered to your door hassle free. Leaving you time to focus on your business.

We don’t put shipping prices on our website as they change regularly, and the total cost depends on the specifics of your order. However, you can fill in our enquiry form and we’ll give you a quote. Also, our mixed container service costs $160 per cubic metre “all in” to the east coast of Australia (Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane) and £65 per cubic metre to Felixstowe in the UK.

While multinational companies were already importing from China - smaller operators were only just getting started. These containers are shipped to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Felixstowe (UK), once per month. Essentially if you are shipping less than a container load - say 5 cubic metres, you get the same costs as those importing full container loads. This often saves members up to 50% on shipping & logistics costs. The goods will arrive in our warehouses in either Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Felixstowe. This is what Easy Imex is there for - to make sure your goods are up to scratch. The fact is if you import blind, without checking the credentials of a factory or establishing their quality levels and managing them closely, you may very well end up with poor quality products.

We need to establish how reliable/competent the factory is to make your products. Then we need to set a quality standard in a sales contract. Finally we need to manage the suppliers carefully by checking up on them through quality control inspections.

It's important never to let substandard product leave China. You won't be refunded if it gets to your location damaged - because the Chinese suppliers will generally refuse to pay.

Generally our orders are $5,000-$50,000 at a time. However, we do smaller orders as well of $1,000-$5,000 too.

If you want to import and 'get it right' there's much ground work to complete before an order is placed. Here's some things our account managers have to organise before providing a quote:

• Sourcing The Right Product - this means choosing from the huge array of potential suppliers, assessing the honest, reliable manufacturers and filtering unreliable or outright fraudulent suppliers.
• Price vs Quality - Many suppliers offer exceptionally cheap prices. What you won't discover - until too late - is they've sacrificed the quality. Given our experience with a wide range of products - we're highly attuned to games the manufacturers can play.
• Negotiating Price - In China virtually everything is negotiable. Never accept the first price a factory provides. You can usually get a better deal, particularly if you know their costs. Comparing several suppliers will help indicate a fair price.
• Specifications and Quantities. Getting the exact specifications for your product is very important. Manufacturers have been known to make costly mistakes simply because they weren't given highly specific specifications.
• Landed Quotes. This includes calculating freight costs, the weight of goods in containers, how many goods can fit into a container etc
• Fluctuations in Exchange Rates & material prices all need to be addressed in detail before an order is placed.

In order to continue the high level of service to our existing members we cannot deal with every possible enquiry.

The membership is refundable to those who order more than $10,000 of goods. And over the long term it's a small price to pay to have your interests handled by import professionals in China.
